I advise upon Islamic divorce, particularly when initiated by women in the pursuit of obtaining a Sharia divorce.
I also frequently advise upon the various complex factors present in the absence of a civil marriage.
I also aim to educate and empower through the media on the need for a legally recognised marriage, on the simple premise of established international law: if a marriage is good by the laws of the country in which it is effected, it is good all over the world; if however the so called marriage is no marriage in the country it was celebrated then there is no marriage anywhere.

‘Camilla is an amazing woman!
The day Allah (SWT) sent me Camilla through the Direct Access portal my life changed. I have lost count of the number of Lawyers that I have had to contact for advice and assistance. I found myself in the predicament of having a Nikkah and Civil marriage plus financial proceedings to contend with and so much conflicting advice from there is nothing we can do to help you and you are on your own to we will take your money and then leave it in the hands of the Courts.
My stress levels were at an all time high as anybody who has had dealings with Solicitors and the Courts as well as the Islamic Law Council will understand.
